Role description
Amazon WorkSpaces Engineer Location: Remote Start Date: 05/26 Job Summary We are looking for an experienced AWS Amazon WorkSpaces Engineer to support and manage virtual desktop environments in AWS. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Amazon WorkSpaces, AWS infrastructure, and automation/DevOps tools. AWS DevOps Engineer Professional certification is preferred, but candidates with strong Amazon WorkSpaces experience can also be considered. Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon WorkSpaces • Experience managing and supporting AWS cloud environments • Knowledge of: • AWS Directory Services • VPC • IAM • EC2 • CloudWatch • Experience with: • WorkSpaces deployment and troubleshooting • User provisioning • Image management • Security policies • Performance optimization • Experience with automation and DevOps tools • Good troubleshooting and communication skills Preferred Skills • AWS DevOps Engineer Professional Certification • Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or scripting • Experience with AWS AppStream is a plus • Windows/Linux administration experience Responsibilities • Deploy and manage Amazon WorkSpaces environments • Troubleshoot user and system issues • Configure and maintain AWS infrastructure • Monitor performance and security • Automate operational tasks • Support end users and engineering teams • Maintain documentation and best practices
