Role description
Amelia Developer (Voice & Chat) | Contract Location: San Antonio, TX | Plano, TX Work Model: Hybrid (1–2 days onsite per week) Contract Duration: 6 Months (extendable) Overview We are looking for a skilled Amelia Developer with strong expertise in Conversational AI, Voicebots, and Chatbots to design and deploy intelligent automation solutions. You will work on cutting-edge AI-driven conversational platforms, building voice and chat experiences that improve customer support, IT service automation, and enterprise workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI assistants with contact center platforms, enterprise systems, and ITSM tools, helping organizations deliver smarter and more efficient user experiences. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy voicebots and chatbots using the Amelia platform • Build conversational experiences using speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) technologies. • Develop conversational flows with NLP including intent detection and entity extraction. • Integrate conversational AI solutions with enterprise systems via APIs (REST, SOAP, XML). • Connect Amelia solutions with contact center platforms, AWS Connect, and ITSM tools. • Implement integrations using webhooks and backend APIs. • Work with architecture and development teams to deliver scalable conversational AI solutions. • Support automation for customer service and IT operations Requirements • Hands-on experience with the Amelia (IPsoft) Conversational AI platform. • Strong experience developing Voicebots and Chatbots. • Expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), intent detection, and entity extraction. • Experience integrating bots with AWS Connect, enterprise APIs, and backend systems. • Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Rally. • Knowledge of Active Directory, SSO, and LDAP integrations. • Strong Python development experience (4+ years preferred). • Experience with JavaScript, ReactJS, JSON, Webhooks, and API integrations Nice to Have • Contact center technology experience • CTI integrations • Experience with Cisco or Genesys voice platforms • Knowledge of IT Service Desk or IT Operations automation If you have experience building AI-powered conversational solutions and want to work on cutting-edge voice and chatbot automation, we’d love to hear from you.
