Overview
As a part of the Enterprise Digital Center of Excellence (CoE), you will be responsible for developing world class digital products, capabilities and marketing programs that support our global markets and help drive business growth.
The Analyst, Enterprise Agentic Search Content plays a key role in supporting the execution of American Express’s enterprise content strategy for AI-driven and agentic discovery experiences. This role focuses on content optimization, data analysis, and operational support—helping ensure content is structured, discoverable, and effective across emerging search and AI ecosystems.
This is a highly collaborative role at the intersection of content, AI, search, and customer experience. You will work closely with the Manager of Enterprise Agentic Search Content and partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, UX, analytics, and technology to support high-quality, machine-readable, and trusted content experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Support execution of enterprise content strategy by identifying content gaps, optimization opportunities, and inconsistencies in AI-generated answers
• Assist in implementing frameworks for prompt optimization, structured data, and AI-readable content formats
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, UX Design, Research, Analytics) to support content initiatives across use cases
• Contribute to maintaining and applying the enterprise insights “spine” (taxonomy of intents, topics, and behaviors) in day-to-day work
• Support source-of-truth mapping efforts and help ensure content accuracy, consistency, and governance standards
• Track and document experimentation efforts, including test setups, results, and key learnings
• Assist in analyzing performance data and generating insights to inform content optimization and strategy decisions
• Support UX and Research initiatives such as journey mapping, prompt testing, and thematic analysis
• Help develop and maintain templates, playbooks, and documentation for content best practices
• Assist with content operations, including editorial planning, workflow coordination, and calendar tracking
• Monitor external trends in AI search, digital content, and competitive landscape to support ongoing optimization
• Collaborate with team members to support training materials and enablement resources for business partners
Qualifications
• 1–3+ years of experience in content strategy, content operations, SEO/AEO, digital marketing, analytics, or a related field
• Strong interest in AI-driven search, LLMs, and emerging digital discovery platforms
• Experience in industries where content and merchandising is critical
• Familiarity with content management systems, structured content, or metadata is a plus
• Basic understanding of SEO or search ecosystem trends, including conversational or AI-driven experiences
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed organization
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving space
