Transforming the Future with Convergence of Simulation and Data Analyst General/Engineering Job Summary Our client in Dearborn, MI is looking for an Analyst General/Engineering. This is a contract position. What You Will Do Global Engineering Learning and Development Learning Specialist Responsible for and supporting engineering learning & development strategic initiatives and partnering with product development functional teams to support key competency training/learning solutions. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To • Manage strategic learning and training solutions for global engineering learning needs. • Contribute to Learning and Development internal and external communication products. • Continually research industry trends and provide recommendations on improvement initiatives in the areas of technology, delivery, and curation. • Provide internal support of ongoing Learning and Development initiatives. • Learning Partners. • Build and manage relationships with engineering functional teams to align team training needs to learning solutions. • Support partnering teams with training planning and implementation, and logistics. • Investigate and identify new training to align with evolving organizational needs. • Assist Learning Partners and their organizations with any training issues or issues with HCM learning system. • Course / Curriculum Management. • Manage local technical training budget, scheduling of classes and process planning to prioritize technical training needs and requests. • Manage Purchase Orders and invoices for vendor technical training. • Communicate, coordinate, host and facilitate in-person and/or virtual training events. • Analyze training needs, manage classes to help resolve inquiries/requests, curriculum development and set priorities. • Collaborate with PD and other cross functional teams to ensure that PD learning catalog is accurate and up to date. Basics • Bachelor's Degree. • 2+ years of work experience in the areas of learning and development, training and project management, or equivalent business experience. • Team player with good collaborative decision-making skills with the ability to build and foster strong relationships, establish trust, and achieve alignment across the organization. • Demonstrated presentation skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to adjust message by audience. • Demonstrated Project Management Skills and ability to communicate project plans and status using appropriate tools. • Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneNote). • Passion for learning and continuing education. • Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task. • Ability to evolve projects from ambiguity to a defined planAnalyst – being able to analyze data and make a recommendation or decision based on the data. • Benchmarking – investigate other companies, methods, processes for innovative and continuous improvement solutions. • Customer Support – being able to support our customers with a positive attitude and understand their needs. • Data Management – manage data, files, reports, notes, etc. • Event Planning – plan training events. • Financial Analysis – look at invoices to confirm training costs are correct. • Knowledge Management – management training materials in excel, HCM, Degreed. • Learning Strategy – incorporate the learning strategies into your work. • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Windows – being able to do work in the Microsoft products. • Problem Solving – able to look work on your own and resolve roadblocks or issues that arise. • Project Management – manage multiple project and be able to prioritize and balance time between projects. • Project Support – support others with projects. • Training – attend it, host it, investigate new trainings, promote it, etc. • Training And Development – same as above. • Training Coordination – coordinate training events and work with SMEs. • Vendor Management – work with Vendors on external training courses. • Vendor Relationships – build good working relationships with external vendors. • Onsite position.
