Role Description
We are hiring a contractor working closely with the Digital Content & Channels analyst team, whose main focus will be to manage our key datasets, ensuring that deliverables are updated in a timely manner and improvements made where needed
- Working with sources of data - both internal research teams and external providers – you will ensure data is received on time, stored and uploaded to the databases
- You will also be extract insights and data from the databases to identify market trends and performance of companies
- As part of the role, the data analyst will need to keep up to speed with developments in global TV and online programme production and distribution
- The job may include collaborating on delivering consulting engagements, responding to client enquiries, and offering sales and service support
- There would also be the opportunity to deliver presentations to clients, at industry conferences and client events
Qualifications
\- Ability to manage, maintain and update MS Excel data sets
\- An ability to think critically and analytically about the best way to publish and present data
\- Knowledge of Power BI, Table, SQL and Python would be desirable
\- A forensic attention to detail and a lively interest in the film and TV industry
\- Knowledge of the worldwide TV and sports industry would be desirable but not essential
