Role description
We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Analyst (Web Analytics & Reporting) II to join our Customer Experience (CX) Analytics team. You will report to the Manager of Business Analytics and work closely with Product Managers, UX Researchers, and cross-functional partners across our Growth Experience Technology (GET) organization. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Power BI, SQL, and web analytics to design and deliver high-quality dashboards, reporting solutions, and insights that enable data-driven decision making. You will play a key role in understanding business needs, translating them into scalable data solutions, and ensuring stakeholders can act on clear, accurate, and actionable insights. This is a Hybrid role based in San Francisco. Responsibilities β€’ Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver scalable solutions. β€’ Build, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports to track KPIs, monitor performance, and surface insights across the digital customer lifecycle. β€’ Perform deep-dive analyses on customer behavior and business performance, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. β€’ Ensure data integrity and reliability by working with data engineering and IT teams on data pipelines, new data system integrations, and validation processes. β€’ Act as a subject matter expert in Power BI, providing guidance, training, and support to business teams. β€’ Communicate insights effectively through data storytelling, presentations, and visualizations that influence strategy and operations. β€’ Build and manage relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leaders, to align on priorities, timelines, and deliverables. β€’ Support ongoing automation of reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability. Requirements β€’ Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related). β€’ 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting roles. β€’ Proven expertise in Power BI (including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling). β€’ Proficiency in SQL for querying, joining, and validating large datasets. β€’ Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into business-friendly insights. β€’ Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholder expectations. β€’ Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics). Preferred Requirements β€’ Knowledge of ETL processes and automated reporting pipelines. β€’ Familiarity with data governance, security, and quality best practices. β€’ Experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and problem-solving. β€’ Strong ability to tell data-driven stories that influence decision-making. β€’ Prior experience collaborating with UX/UI designers, product managers, or researchers. What We’re Looking For β€’ A data-driven problem solver who is curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about uncovering insights. β€’ Someone who can bridge the gap between business and technical teamsβ€”understanding business needs while designing technically sound solutions. β€’ A proactive communicator who can simplify complex concepts and build trust with stakeholders. Benefits β€’ We offer healthcare plans, which you may opt into at your own expense. β€’ Sick leave is provided under the state laws applicable to your residence. Who can apply - β€’ Candidates with independent work authorization, open to W2 contract or C2H roles. β€’ At this time we are NOT sponsoring work visas. β€’ Should have worked 40 hours a week in the US for at least 3 years. β€’ We DO NOT work with 3rd party vendors, or hire on C2C terms.
