Analyst/Developer – General 4 Job Type: W2 Contract Contract Duration: 24 Months Work Location: Chillicothe, Illinois 61523 Work Setting: On-Site, First Shift, 7:30AM - 4PM Pay Rate: $55.00 - $56.50/hour Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Analyst/Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and backend services. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using modern .NET technologies, cloud platforms, and database systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders to support application enhancements, resolve defects, and ensure code quality across environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain ASP.NET Web Applications and .NET 8 Web APIs • Build and support backend services, including console applications and data processing jobs • Develop applications using C#, LINQ, and Entity Framework for business logic and data access • Work with databases including Azure SQL and MySQL, optimizing performance • Deploy and maintain applications in Azure Cloud and on-premise environments • Implement background processing using Azure Functions and Azure Web Jobs • Evaluate code to ensure quality, performance, security, and adherence to coding standards • Identify and resolve defects from testing and production environments • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on requirements, testing, and deployment • Support application enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • Master’s degree acceptable with 6+ years of experience • 8–10 years of professional experience • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Top 3 Required Skills • Strong experience with ASP.NET Web Applications • Proficiency in C#, LINQ, and Entity Framework • Strong database experience with Azure SQL and MySQL Required Technical Skills • Experience with Azure services: • Azure App Service • Azure Functions • Azure Web Jobs • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and authorization • Experience with Git / Azure DevOps • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred) Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Power BI development or integration experience • Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills Soft Skills • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) • Problem-solving and analytical thinking • Ability to work independently • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders #INDOEM
