Role description
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Qlik Developer to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a fully office based role that will be based in London.
Our client is seeking a Qlik developer to rebuild their MiFID transaction reporting from the ground up - itβs a hands-on role focused on untangling complex stored procedures and moving to a modern reporting layer.
Responsibilities:
β’ Rewrite and redevelop MiFID transaction reporting logic currently implemented in complex SQL stored procedures into Qlik-based reporting solutions
β’ Analyse existing reporting logic, data structures, and transformation rules embedded in legacy stored procedures
β’ Design and build scalable, maintainable data models and reporting layers in Qlik
β’ Work closely with trading / regulatory teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of regulatory reporting outputs
β’ Validate and reconcile new Qlik outputs against legacy reporting to ensure consistency
β’ Support testing, implementation and rollout of the new reporting solution
β’ Collaborate with global teams
About You
β’ 7+ yearsβ experience in data / reporting / development roles
β’ Strong hands-on experience with Qlik (Qlik Sense / QlikView)
β’ Advanced expertise in:
β’ SQL development
β’ Complex stored procedures
β’ Data modelling and transformation
β’ Proven experience working with large, complex datasets in financial services environments
β’ Strong analytical skills with ability to reverse-engineer legacy logic
Preferred:
β’ Prior experience with MiFID trade / transaction reporting
