Role description
Title: Analytical Scientist II
Assignment: 12 months
Location: 100% Onsite – Spring House, PA (Lab-based role)
Pay rate: $36.35/hr.
Responsibilities:
• Perform analytical testing (e.g., HPLC/UPLC and dissolution) of drug products and APIs
• Perform data analysis (chromatography/spectroscopy) and present results to team in a timely manner
• Support regulatory and GMP needs related to drug product development
• Work under supervision of senior scientist, reporting to Analytical Sciences leadership
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
• BS with 4–6 years OR MS with 1–3 years OR PhD with 0–2 years in Analytical Chemistry
Required Skills:
• Hands-on analytical lab experience (wet chemistry, chromatography)
• Experience collecting/analyzing raw data, preparing graphs, visualization tools
• Familiarity with statistics
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary team environment
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of GMP, quality, compliance, and data integrity requirements
• Troubleshooting experience in analytical techniques (chromatography, dissolution, spectroscopy)
• Ability to work independently in the laboratory
• Expertise in Liquid Chromatography (HPLC/UPLC) and dissolution
• Experience with Empower software or other chromatographic systems, and ELN
• Working knowledge of statistical tools (Excel, Minitab)
• Experience conducting comparative or multi-media dissolution studies
