Senior Analytics Engineer for a Retail Client
Weβre seeking a contract Analytics Engineer to support retail data initiatives and help deliver clean, reliable datasets that power reporting, forecasting, and customer insights.
Responsibilities
β’ Build and maintain data models in the cloud warehouse using SQL and dbt
β’ Transform retail data (sales, inventory, ecommerce, customer) into analytics-ready datasets
β’ Develop and optimize ELT workflows and improve warehouse performance
β’ Define and maintain business metrics and KPIs
β’ Implement data testing and ensure data quality
β’ Partner with analytics and business teams to support dashboards and reporting
Requirements
β’ Strong SQL and dbt experience
β’ Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks
β’ Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster)
β’ Experience supporting BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
β’ Ability to ramp quickly and work in fast-paced environments
