Role description
Senior Analytics Engineer – Contract (ASAP Start date!!)
We’re looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join a fast-growing global marketplace brand. You’ll be working in a high-impact data team where the insights you build directly shape how millions of people engage with the platform.
This is an initial 6-month contract, outside IR35, with 1 day per week in London.
The Role
• Partner with engineers and stakeholders to design and deliver robust data models
• Standardise BI definitions by shifting them upstream into the data stack
• Refactor and optimise Looker models to improve performance and usability
Tech Stack
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience with Databricks, Airflow, dbt, and Looker
• Solid knowledge of data warehousing, modelling, optimisation, governance, and monitoring
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
