Role description
Analytics & Data Engineer – Tableau & Snowflake
1-Year Contract (Long-Term Team Engagement) | Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite
Please note that Logisolve is engaged directly with the client, and submissions from third-party vendors will not be considered.
We're looking for a strong mid-level Analytics Engineer with deep Tableau expertise to join our product team and support a strategic engagement analytics initiative within one of our core business lines. This is a 1-year contract to start, with strong potential to extend as part of an ongoing team.
About the Role
This initiative brings together data from across multiple systems to give sales teams a standardized, unified view of how we engage with key stakeholders—helping measure engagement outcomes more effectively. The current process is fragmented across systems, relying on manual data entry. You'll help support a unified solution, built around a digital experience portal, that consolidates data into accurate, actionable reporting.
You'll own the analytics lifecycle: modeling raw data into analytics-ready datasets and building secure, high-performance Tableau dashboards—including dashboards embedded into broader enterprise platforms. While Tableau development is central to this role, Snowflake data modeling is also part of the work.
You'll be joining an established team with experts in reporting and the broader platform ecosystem available to provide guidance, so this role is well-suited to someone with strong intermediate-to-advanced Tableau skills who's ready to contribute quickly and grow.
What You'll Do
• Design and maintain analytics-ready data models (fact/dimension tables, star schemas) optimized for Tableau
• Build and publish high-performance Tableau dashboards and data sources, connecting to enterprise data sources such as a corporate data lake
• Develop complex Tableau calculations including LOD expressions, table calculations, parameters, sets, and advanced filters
• Implement row-level security and governed access controls within Tableau
• Optimize dashboard and extract performance; troubleshoot refresh failures, latency, and data discrepancies
• Perform Snowflake data modeling and SQL development as needed to support analytics-ready datasets
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable models and dashboards
What You Bring
• Strong mid-level experience as an Analytics Engineer, BI Engineer, or Data Engineer
• Strong intermediate-to-advanced Tableau expertise, including:
• Complex calculated fields (LOD expressions, table calculations)
• Foundational Tableau Server/Cloud administration knowledge
• Recent, demonstrable experience with Tableau and Snowflake data modeling, including connecting to published data sources (e.g., data lake environments)
• Advanced SQL skills
• A track record of taking ownership across the analytics lifecycle—clearly reflected in your work history
• Experience connecting your engineering/analytics work to broader program or organizational impact, with strong energy and collaboration
Logistics
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite required; most stakeholders are based in Alabama
• Flexible start/end times, with potential for additional flexibility once ramped up
• Relocation supported at the start of the engagement
If you're a Tableau-savvy analytics engineer who enjoys ownership, collaboration, and being part of a growing program, we'd love to hear from you.
