Job Title: Analytics Engineer (Marketing Data) Location: USA (Remote) Job Type: 6 Month Contract About the Role We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer to help transform raw marketing data into trusted, analytics-ready datasets that drive decision-making across the business. You’ll sit at the intersection of marketing, data engineering, and analytics owning data models, improving data quality, and enabling stakeholders to confidently measure performance across channels. This role is ideal for someone who loves building clean data foundations and partnering closely with marketing, growth, and analytics teams. What You’ll Do β€’ Design, build, and maintain analytics-ready data models for marketing and growth use cases β€’ Transform raw data from marketing platforms (e.g., paid media, CRM, email, web analytics) into well-documented, reliable datasets β€’ Partner with marketing, growth, and analytics stakeholders to define metrics, KPIs, and attribution logic β€’ Own data quality, testing, and monitoring for marketing datasets β€’ Implement best practices for version control, documentation, and data modeling (e.g., dbt) β€’ Support experimentation, funnel analysis, and campaign performance reporting β€’ Improve data accessibility and self-serve analytics through semantic layers or BI tools β€’ Collaborate with data engineers on data ingestion, warehouse design, and performance optimization What We’re Looking For β€’ 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, analytics, or data engineering β€’ Strong SQL skills and experience modeling data in a modern data warehouse (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) β€’ Hands-on experience with dbt or similar transformation tools β€’ Familiarity with marketing data sources such as Google Analytics, ad platforms (Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn), CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), or attribution tools β€’ Strong understanding of marketing metrics, funnels, and attribution concepts β€’ Experience working with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Mode) β€’ Ability to translate business questions into scalable data models β€’ Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally Nice to Have β€’ Experience with product analytics or experimentation frameworks β€’ Knowledge of data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) β€’ Experience defining and maintaining a metrics layer β€’ Familiarity with privacy, consent management, and marketing data governance
