Role description
Job Title: Anaplan Architect Job Type: Remote C2H Key Responsibilities: • Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of Anaplan solutions aligned with enterprise planning requirements. • Define and implement scalable model structures, data integration frameworks, and performance optimization strategies. • Serve as the Anaplan SME, promoting best practices around model reusability, modularity, maintainability, and ALM. • Drive model optimization, including sparsity management, model hygiene, and calculation tuning for performance. • Oversee model development by internal teams and external partners, ensuring adherence to architectural and governance standards. • Support change management, including test planning, documentation, and user training and enablement. • Design and manage data integrations between Anaplan and source systems (CRM, Data Lakes, ERPs) using Anaplan Connect, APIs, or middleware (e.g., Mulesoft, Talend). • Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic planning requirements into efficient Anaplan logic and processes. • Contribute to the enterprise planning roadmap, enhancing capabilities and platform adoption across the business. Required Qualifications & Skills: • 7+ years of experience with Anaplan, including 4+ years as an Anaplan Architect. • Anaplan Certified Solution Architect is required; Master Anaplanner certification highly preferred. • Expertise in performance tuning, sparsity control, dynamic cell access, time-based modeling, and complex hierarchical logic. Preferred Qualifications & Desired Skills: • Experience in regulated industries such as Healthcare, Financial Services, or Manufacturing. • Previous consulting background with global system integrators or Anaplan-focused firms. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional product teams. • Scripting skills for automation and integration (e.g., Anaplan Connect, Python, JavaScript) a plus. • Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and their integration with planning tools.
