Role description
Seeking an experienced developer to partner with its internal Finance team in designing, developing, and implementing enhancements to our existing Anaplan financial planning & reporting tool
Required Qualifications (must haves)
β’ Core Skills:
o Anaplan: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Anaplan model development
o Stakeholder Management: Strong proficiency in partnering with stakeholders to understand requirements, translate needs into actionable roadmaps, and deliver finished products
β’ Certifications:
o Anaplan Certified Solution Architect
Nice to have Qualifications
β’ Integrations:
β’ Experience building automated integrations into Anaplan from Databricks, Salesforce, Dynamics365, and Workday
β’ Experience building automated integrations from Anaplan to PowerBI and Databricks
β’ Anaplan XL connections to-and-from Excel
β’ Familiarity setting up predictive forecasting in Anaplanβs Forecaster (formerly PlanIQ) tool, including data readiness, data ingestion, and model setup
Key Responsibilities
β’ Technical Leadership & Architecture: Own the design and delivery of best practice enhancements to the Anaplan model. New enhancements should be designed to fit neatly within current model architecture and to be scalable alongside future enhancements
β’ Hands-On Delivery & Operations: This role will be responsible for implementing solutions into clientβs Anaplan model, including:
β’ Increased versioning for high-use pages and modules
β’ Stronger connection between Finance and Payroll models, primarily data flows back and forth
β’ Improving copyover processes to reduce manual data inputs
β’ Role-level payroll tracking across versions
β’ Automation of payroll cost calculations
β’ Automation of standard monthly reporting
β’ Ledger data editing capabilities
β’ Product attribute tagging
β’ Allocation of cost to Products and associated reporting
β’ Partner Collaboration: Partner with Finance to translate business needs into technical roadmaps and productionalized solutions. Work with the team to design best practices and provide recommendations for process improvement
