Ansible Engineer

Job Title: Ansible Engineer Location: Chandler, AZ (Open to Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC) Work Arrangement: Hybrid Client Industry: Banking Duration:12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion) About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with strong Ansible expertise to join the Automation Platform team. This role will focus on building and enhancing a new Ansible automation environment while supporting the migration from legacy Ansible platforms to a modern enterprise automation framework. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise and infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and Python scripting, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation frameworks for enterprise infrastructure automation. • Support the migration from legacy Ansible environments to a new automation platform. • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support infrastructure and application automation. • Develop and maintain automation scripts and logic queries using Python and other scripting tools. • Work with engineering teams to implement scalable, secure, and highly available automation solutions. • Collaborate with stakeholders and platform users to support automation initiatives and project execution. • Implement automation for cloud and container-based infrastructure environments. What We’re Looking For: • 5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer in enterprise environments. • 5+ years of hands-on Ansible experience, including playbooks, roles, and automation frameworks. • Strong Python scripting skills with the ability to read, understand, and modify code. • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows. • Experience writing automation scripts and logic queries. • Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and security principles. • Experience with container technologies and CI/CD tools. • Experience building and supporting highly available IaaS and PaaS environments at enterprise scale. Compensation: Hourly Rate: $65 - $70 per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
