Position: API Developer
Work Location: Wilmington DE, Hybrid (min 2 days in person)
API Developer - Job Description:
• Minimum 6+ year of experience as software developer
• Have experience working with credit decisioning applications APIs
• Experience with REST, GraphQL, SOAP, and API management platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Backend languages like Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), or Ruby.
• Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and writing SQL queries
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and version control (e.g., Git).
• Create robust, secure, and scalable API endpoints and services.
• Ensure APIs meet functional and non-functional requirements
• Connect internal systems and third-party services to ensure data flows smoothly.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for API usage, endpoints, and data structures.
• Implement authentication/authorization (e.g., OAuth, API keys) and monitor API performance for troubleshooting.
• Work with frontend and backend developers to define requirements and ensure efficient integration.
