About The Role
We are seeking an experienced API Integration Lead to drive the design, development, and implementation of API integrations across our enterprise systems. This role combines technical leadership with client-facing responsibilities, ensuring seamless connectivity between applications and platforms while building strong relationships with veterinary clinics to enable secure system access.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead API integration projects from planning through deployment, ensuring scalability and security.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define integration strategies.
β’ Design and implement RESTful APIs and middleware solutions to connect internal and external systems.
β’ Engage veterinary clinics to facilitate access to their systems, ensuring compliance and smooth integration.
β’ Monitor and optimize API performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
β’ Establish best practices for API development, documentation, and version control.
β’ Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on integration standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
β’ Proven experience in API integration and development (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
β’ Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, .NET, or Python.
β’ Hands-on experience with API management tools (e.g., Apigee, MuleSoft, Postman).
β’ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
β’ Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions with veterinary clinics.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical projects.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience in healthcare or veterinary technology environments.
β’ Knowledge of security protocols (OAuth, JWT) and compliance standards.
