We are seeking an experienced API Management Lead to design, develop, and plan a MuleSoft to AWS migration. This role will be responsible for leading API strategy and implementation to enable seamless connectivity across critical enterprise systems and AWS-based applications.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in integration patterns, API-led connectivity, Lambda and Mulesoft connectors. A strong understanding of regulated environments such as biotech, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare is a plus.
We are not hiring a MuleSoft Developer
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead the design, planning and migration.
β’ Define and enforce API governance, standards, and best practices across the organization
β’ Apply modern integration patterns (e.g., API-led connectivity, event-driven architecture, microservices) to solve complex business challenges
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
β’ Oversee the full API lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring
β’ Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GxP where applicable)
β’ Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability of integrations
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
β’ 7+ years of experience in enterprise integration and API development
β’ Strong experience integrating/migrating AWS-based applications
β’ Deep knowledge of integration patterns (e.g., publish/subscribe, request/reply, batch processing, event streaming)
β’ Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization

β’ Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
β’ Effective communication skills, both technical and non-technical
