Position Description:
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Application Developer to join a collaborative, fast-paced technology team supporting internal business operations. This role is ideal for an early-career developer who is eager to build custom, purpose-driven applications and grow their skills across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of in-house applications using modern .NET and web technologies. You’ll work closely with experienced developers, follow established architecture and development standards, and gain hands-on experience with enterprise systems used in real-world operational environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are technically curious, deadline-driven, and looking to accelerate their career in full stack application development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain custom internal applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL Server
• Follow established development architecture, coding standards, and best practices
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications and integrated systems
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members in an Agile-style environment
• Document application changes, enhancements, and technical processes
• Learn and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies as needed
• Manage tasks effectively to meet project deadlines and deliverables
Required Skills / Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in application or software development (internships and co-op experience welcome)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio
• Full stack development experience or exposure, including:
• C# / ASP.NET Core
• HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
• SQL Server, including tables and stored procedures
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt quickly in a technical environment
Nice-to-Have Skills (Assets):
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• ComponentOne or similar UI component libraries
• Experience supporting or developing systems used in construction, infrastructure, or industrial environments
