Location: Jersey City, NJ or Tampa, FL
Rate - $50- C2C
The role involves designing, building, and maintaining complex enterprise-grade Business Process Management (BPM) applications. While Appian uses a low-code visual interface, a Java background allows the developer to build custom plugins, handle complex system integrations, and manage advanced backend logic that exceeds standard low-code capabilities.
• Application Design & Development: Create end-to-end applications including process models, user interfaces (using Appian’s SAIL language), and business rules.
• Java-Based Customization: Develop custom Appian plug-ins and Smart Services using Java to extend platform functionality.
• System Integration: Design and implement REST/SOAP Web APIs to connect Appian with external enterprise systems like SAP, Salesforce, or legacy Java applications.
• Data Orchestration: Manage Complex Data Types (CDTs), data stores, and relational database integrations (SQL, Oracle, MariaDB).
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Appian Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Appian objects (Process Models, Sites, Records, Reports) and Appian Certifications (Associate or Senior level).
• Java Expertise: Strong background in Java/J2EE, including frameworks like Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Database Skills: Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and designing database schemas.
• Web Technologies: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON/XML.
