Job Title: Appian SME
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: Long-term
Key Responsibilities:
• 14+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in Appian BPM development and architecture.
• Strong understanding of Appian design patterns, SAIL, Process Models, CDTs, Records, Reports, Sites, and Interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with Appian plug-ins, Web APIs, RPA, and integration with REST/SOAP services.
• Lead end-to-end Appian BPM solution design and implementation, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze and map business processes, identify automation opportunities, and translate them into Appian applications.
• Define and enforce Appian architecture standards, reusable components, and integration patterns.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to Appian developers and analysts.
• Work closely with Enterprise Architects and Solution Designers to integrate Appian workflows with enterprise systems (e.g., core banking, CRM, payment systems).
• Conduct Appian performance tuning, version upgrades, and apply best practices for scalability and security.
• Develop Appian plug-ins, smart services, interfaces, and SAIL components to enhance application capabilities.
• Support UAT, deployment, and production rollout activities.
• Stay current with Appian product updates, emerging BPM trends, and BFSI regulatory changes (e.g., AML, KYC, Risk Management).
