Role description
Our client provides educational experience that helps individuals explore their interests and prepare for whatever path they choose to pursue. They are looking for an Application Analyst who will support and enhance our client’s administrative systems and reporting capabilities. This is an onsite position based in Hartford County, CT.
Application Analyst’s Responsibilities And Duties
• Develop, write, and maintain SQL queries and scripts to support data extraction, reporting, and system integration needs.
• Work with relational databases (primarily SQL Server), leveraging tools like T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS or similar reporting platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, recommend solutions, and optimize the use of enterprise systems.
• Assist in system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting application issues.
Application Analyst’s Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years) in an analyst or programming-focused role.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, or other enterprise reporting tools.
• Familiarity with information systems such as Jenzabar, Ellucian, or Banner is a plus.
