Job Title: Applications Development Analyst (Power Platform) Location: Tallahassee, FL Duratio: Long term Contract Overview The Applications Development Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI solutions and Power Platform integrations. This role focuses on delivering end-to-end dashboard solutions, ensuring secure hosting environments, and collaborating with business teams to translate requirements into technical designs. Minimum Qualifications Education & Certification • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Power BI Certification preferred Skills & Abilities • Strong experience in end-to-end Power BI development and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) • Expertise in Data Modeling, DAX, and M Language • Hands-on experience with ETL processes using Power Query and enterprise tools • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Strong knowledge of data cleanup, testing, and application support • Experience in secure dashboard hosting and infrastructure management • Understanding of QA and integration methodologies • Skilled in architecture design (component & data) • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to train stakeholders and present ideas effectively • Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Experience Required • Minimum 2+ years of programming or systems analysis experience • Experience in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Experience with Power BI + Power Platform integrations • Experience in technical integrations and system performance optimization • Exposure to application maintenance and support Technical Environment • Microsoft Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams, Visio • Data Sources: SQL, Oracle, APIs, Salesforce, Google Analytics • Integration with Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Dynamics 365, M365) Key Responsibilities 1. Full Lifecycle Development • Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI dashboards • Ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget 1. Technical Integration • Collaborate with business units to convert requirements into technical designs • Align solutions with organizational and IT strategies 1. Performance & Maintenance • Maintain and support applications post-deployment • Optimize performance and recommend reuse vs new development 1. Architecture & Security • Manage secure hosting environments for dashboards • Participate in data and system architecture design 1. Collaboration & Communication • Work with cross-functional teams including IT, Data, and Security • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and leadership • Build strong partnerships across teams Soft Skills • Strong communication and presentation skills • Team player with collaboration mindset • Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask efficiently • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
