🚀 Applied Scientist (Machine Learning / Data Science) 📍 Remote (U.S.) | 🕒 3-Month Contract (Medical Leave Coverage) 💼 4–8 Years Experience IntePros is currently seeking an Applied Scientist to support a leading streaming/media organization (MGM+ environment). This is a high-impact, short-term contract focused on advancing data-driven decision making across content strategy, audience engagement, and subscriber growth. 🔍 What You’ll Be Doing • Evaluate and scope new data science initiatives that influence content acquisition, programming strategy, and subscriber growth • Develop and enhance machine learning models for: • Content recommendations • Viewership prediction • Subscriber behavior forecasting • Campaign performance measurement • Analyze streaming, audience, and social media data to generate actionable insights • Perform customer cohort analysis to better understand user behavior and retention trends • Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, and content teams to drive data-backed decisions • Bring innovative, algorithmic thinking to improve overall platform performance and user experience 🧠 What We’re Looking For • 4–8 years of experience in data science / applied science / machine learning • Strong background in forecasting and predictive modeling (consumer behavior, engagement, etc.) • Experience with customer segmentation / cohort analysis • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments • Hands-on experience with: • Python • SQL • ETL processes • Excel (VBA a plus) • Generative AI tools and frameworks • Experience working with large-scale datasets (streaming, behavioral, or product data preferred) • Media / entertainment industry experience is a strong plus 💡 Nice to Have • Exposure to recommendation systems, NLP, or predictive analytics • Experience analyzing content performance or audience engagement metrics • Familiarity with competitive intelligence or social sentiment analysis 📌 Why This Role? • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge ML applications in streaming/media • Direct impact on content strategy and subscriber growth • Fast-moving, high-visibility project with meaningful business outcomes
