We are seeking a Staff Applied Scientist β AI & Robotics to join a cutting-edge team working on advanced robotics, embodied AI, and robot learning systems. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about building intelligent robotic systems using modern AI architectures and large-scale machine learning models.
πΉ Key Responsibilities
β’ Design and implement advanced robot learning architectures such as diffusion policies, imitation learning, ACT, and VLM/VLA-guided agents.
β’ Develop end-to-end policy training pipelines integrating multimodal sensory inputs including RGB, depth, LiDAR, tactile data, and proprioception.
β’ Build closed-loop control systems connecting perception, planning, and execution on real robotic hardware.
β’ Apply and extend LLMs, VLM/VLAs, diffusion models, and transformer-based architectures to embodied AI tasks.
β’ Deploy and optimize robot policies on real-world robotic platforms ensuring robustness, repeatability, and safety.
β’ Lead data strategy for demonstrations, teleoperation, and simulation pipelines to train manipulation policies.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive robotics research into production environments.
β’ Stay up to date with latest research in robotics and embodied AI, sharing insights with the team.
πΉ Must-Have Skills
β’ Strong programming experience with Python
β’ Expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Robotics
β’ Hands-on experience with PyTorch, including custom module development and optimization
β’ Experience with ROS / ROS2 integration in robotics workflows
β’ Knowledge of modern AI architectures such as Transformers, Diffusion Models, CNNs, VLM/VLAs, and LLMs
β’ Experience building and deploying ML models on robotic systems in simulation or real-world environments
β’ Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation (Automation Anywhere)
π Education Requirement
β’ PhD in a relevant STEM field
β’ OR
β’ Masterβs with strong industry experience in robotics, robot learning, or embodied AI
