Job Title: SRE Monitoring & Observability Architect-Dynatrace Location: New York, NY (Hybrid with onsite) Long Term Contract Job Description • This role is not a traditional application architect, but rather a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Monitoring Architect focused on observability tooling and performance visibility. • The candidate must be hands-on with Dynatrace and preferably Splunk, while designing and enabling enterprise-scale monitoring environments. • It requires architectural planning, phased deployment, tool integration, and SRE-driven KPIs/alerting. ✅ Must-Have Skills: • Dynatrace (Full Stack Monitoring, APM, Real User Monitoring) • SRE Monitoring Architecture & Observability Frameworks • Incident & Alerting Configuration • Monitoring Enablement Strategy ✅ Nice-to-Have / Add-ons: • Splunk (log aggregation, alerting integration) • DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, etc.) • ITIL process knowledge (Incident/Problem mgmt.) • Dynatrace certification (preferred) 📌 Roles & Responsibilities Summary: • Design and architect monitoring solutions using Dynatrace • Plan phased rollouts and tool enablement strategies • Work cross-functionally with infra/app teams to prioritize observability coverage • Build real-time monitoring dashboards and custom alerting • Define SLO/SLI metrics and integrate into incident response workflows • Train & upskill internal teams on Dynatrace features • Integrate monitoring with cloud services, user experience monitoring, and log analytics (Splunk).
