Responsibilities
β’ Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Technical Strategy & Architecture matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.
β’ Undertakes and leads the most complex architecture projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge.
β’ Makes well-thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous IT architecture issues.
β’ Coordinates with users and business leaders to determine requirements.
β’ Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
β’ Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges; recommends process, product or service improvements.
β’ Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.
β’ Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives; monitors project schedules and costs.
β’ Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines. Recognized internally as βthe go-to personβ for the most complex Architecture assignments.
Position Overview
CuraScript SD a wholesale pharmaceutical distributor that provides customized business solutions and access to specialty drugs to community physicians, specialty pharmacies, and health systems; it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Express Scripts, Inc. β a Cigna Company.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SAP Data Management and BI Engineer to join our technology team. The Engineer serves as a key facilitator and collaborator focusing on understanding and optimizing our data solutions. In this role, the person facilitates the design and development of end to end data solutions ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and customer needs. Working closely within Data team and with other cross-functional teams, the Engineer work on implementation of Data Management processes.
Qualifications
β’ Understand data needs end to end and cross functional /cross system use and impact
β’ Understand and work on data quality, data lineage, data dictionary etc. using data management principles.
β’ Update, Create, Own data models and functional flows end to end
β’ Follow data governance principles, best practices and use of AI where applicable in all objects
β’ Manage the integration of data from various sources (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, HANA Cloud, SAP Datasphere) to ensure data quality, accuracy, and seamless data flow within Data warehousing solutions
β’ Work on development, trouble shooting, testing on data related issues, reporting and analytics in SAP tools
β’ Be able to quickly develop objects within HANA Cloud/Datasphere and analytics using SAC or BOBJ
β’ Knowledge and hands on experience with data migration tools and process
Overall Experience
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience
β’ 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW/Native HANA/HANA Cloud/SAC/Integrated planning
β’ Strong functional knowledge especially in finance and supply chain planning areas
β’ A strong understanding of data management principles
β’ Ability to integrate data from different SAP systems by understanding data models and structures
β’ Knowledge of Datasphere, SAP S/4, CDS views, SDI/SDA/SLT/BODS, SAP CPI, Cloud connector, API, HANA Cloud/HANA Modeling, SAP IBP.
β’ Experience with agile delivery methodologies
β’ Experience/understanding with ERP implementation processes (i.e. planning, blueprinting, go-live, hypercare)
β’ Demonstrated strong organizational skills with strong PC literacy with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
β’ Well versed in using visio and creating documents/flows using it
β’ Must be highly customer focused with a demonstrated commitment to customer care and building long-term relationships
β’ Excellent written and oral communication skills
Additional Qualifications
β’ SAP Datasphere certification
β’ Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA preferred
β’ Knowledge of Agile framework preferred
β’ Experience in wholesale pharmaceutical distribution or life sciences preferred
