Job Tittle: Argos Developer Location: Remote Contract: 6 Month contract to hire. Project Scope: • They are about 70% through converting from an old platform to Argos. They have a deadline by the end of the year to be fully off of the old platform and fully onto Argos, so they need extra help to meet that deadline. This is work within the student module of Argos. • Breakdown of team: • Tech Lead • 3 SQL Developers • 1 PowerBI Specialist • 2 Business Analysts High Level Individual Duties: This person will be converting reports from old platform to Argos. They would be building, materialize views, developing data blocks, using git hub for code migration and building advanced SQL queries. Must Haves: • SQL • Argos • Student module Nice to Have: • Ability to train others in Argos • PowerBI • Argos Developer • Qual Notes (previously qualified by manager) • Argos Experience • Financial Aid Experience/Background • a. Loan processing • b. Satisfactory Academic Progress • c. Understand the directive of " creating an environment where reports drive work" • Knowledge of Banner and Financial Aid Tables • A self-starter that can work independently and meet with a variety of skill levels. • Argos Training Experience • Have worked with a large school with a variety of reporting needs • Willing to have both one on one presentations as well as present to large groups regarding reporting as needed. • Works well with others • Top Must-Haves: • o Argos Experience • o Knowledge of Banner and Student Module • o Experience working with a large school with a variety of reporting needs Responsibilities: 1. Conduct business process and system analyses. 1. Meet with users, analyze their needs, and write report specifications/requirements. 1. Coordinate testing and delivery of new reports or modifications/conversions of existing reports. 1. Report inventory & conversion plan 1. Brio analysis 1. Banner data & rule analysis 1. Populate report catalog and data dictionary/hub. 1. Coordinate delivery of new processes or modifications to report development processes. May be responsible for creating process mapping and tasks documentation. 1. Create and maintain process, best practice & technical documentation. 1. Data block development 1. Craft and execute database queries. 1. Help build report catalog. 1. Some project management tasks - project scope, requirements, measurable outcomes, and project deliverables. 1.
