Role description
Microsoft Power Platform / Agentic AI Engineer
Investment Banking
• Contract £650–£700 per day | Inside IR35
• Central London – Hybrid working (2–3 days onsite per week)
• 6-month initial contract (extensions expected)
You’ll be joining the Innovation Team within a Global Investment Bank, driving the development of intelligent AI-powered workflows across the Capital Markets and Corporate Banking business.
This role is all about building real-world Agentic AI solutions – integrating Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Azure OpenAI to automate high-value banking processes.
You’ll design, build, and orchestrate AI agents that connect enterprise systems, streamline workflows, and enhance decision-making — all while ensuring compliance with banking security and governance standards.
What you’ll be doing in the job:
• Designing and building Copilot Studio agents, Power Apps, and Power Automate flows
• Creating agentic workflows using Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel, and Microsoft Graph APIs
• Integrating enterprise systems and data sources using custom connectors and APIs
• Deploying solutions securely with Azure Key Vault, AKS, and RBAC controls
• Ensuring AI systems meet Responsible AI, GDPR, and EU AI Act standards
What experience you need to be successful:
• Proven experience with Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and Azure OpenAI
• Hands-on with C# or Python, and familiarity with Semantic Kernel or LangChain
• Understanding of Microsoft Graph API, Azure AI Search, and Form Recognizer
• Strong grasp of Responsible AI frameworks, compliance, and data governance
• Experience delivering AI or GenAI solutions in a regulated or financial environment
