Senior AI Solutions Developer (Contract – Remote, U.S. Based) Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential extension) Location: Remote – U.S. Based (EST or CST time zones strongly preferred) Start Date: ASAP Role Overview We’re seeking a Senior AI Solutions Developer to revive and extend a broken AI Proof of Concept (POC) web application. Built on AWS with a .NET backend and Angular frontend, the platform integrates with OpenAI, Stability AI, and AWS Titan to power image search and generation for a custom jewelry use case. The immediate priority is to restore the POC within 3–4 weeks and re-route all AI integrations through a new internal AI Hub for monitoring and governance. This is a high-impact role requiring someone who can work independently, communicate effectively, and deliver results on a tight timeline. Key Responsibilities • Restore and stabilize the AI POC application. • Re-integrate AI services (OpenAI, Stability AI, AWS Titan) via the internal AI Hub. • Develop and support features across .NET backend, Angular frontend, and AWS cloud services. • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, coordinating as needed with the core engineering team. Qualifications • 5+ years of professional software development with strong .NET and AWS experience. • Hands-on integration with AI APIs; conceptual knowledge of vector databases. • Angular and full-stack web development expertise. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Must be U.S. based, preferably in EST or CST time zones. Nice to Have • Experience reviving or scaling AI POCs into production-ready solutions. • Familiarity with C# modernization projects. • Retail, jewelry, or e-commerce domain experience.
