Title: Senior AI Fullstack Engineer
Our clients Early Clinical Development (ECD) department is seeking a Senior AI Fullstack Engineer to join the Clinical Data Insights & Automation (CDI&A) team, reporting to the Director of Software Engineering.
The CDI&A team partners with stakeholders across Clinical Science, Clinical Operations, Medical Writing, Quality, and Regulatory to develop innovative software solutions that drive smarter, faster clinical development. Youβll design, build, and deploy applications powered by generative AI in close collaboration with AI scientists, developers, and product teams. Your work will directly shape how AI enhances data-driven decision-making and user experiences in clinical research.
The Opportunity

Who You Are
β’ A hands-on fullstack engineer experienced in designing and implementing scalable AI applications.
β’ A collaborative problem solver with strong technical breadth and a solid understanding of modern AI technologies, tools, and trends.
β’ Comfortable working across the full stackβfrom intuitive UIs to efficient APIs and cloud deployment.
Minimum Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs or Masterβs in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
β’ 5+ years of fullstack development experience.
β’ Strong skills in front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, or similar) and backend frameworks (Python Django, FastAPI, Flask, Next.js, or similar).
β’ 2+ years developing and deploying AI/ML applications.
β’ Experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating AI/LLM functionality.
β’ Familiar with prompt engineering and AI-assisted automation (e.g., RAG systems, chatbots).
β’ Experience with containerized architectures (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
β’ Strong testing skills (unittest, Jest, Playwright) and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
β’ Experience with AWS and data platforms like Snowflake.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with LLM fine-tuning, AI agents, and bias/fairness evaluation.
β’ Familiarity with LangChain, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
β’ Experience developing Microsoft Word add-ins using Office.js.
β’ Knowledge of JWT, WebSockets, and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
β’ Experience with CRDT frameworks (Yjs) and applying NLP/LLMs to clinical text.
β’ Understanding of clinical drug development processes.
