Job Title: AI Engineer Client Location: Remote, must be in the US and work EST hours Starting: 7/01/2025 Salary/Pay Rate: 46.00-51.00/hr on a W2 only Firm, non-negotiable: No Hours: Full-time Duration: 6 months with the possibility to extend Job Description We’re seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer / Software Engineer to help finalize the backend infrastructure of an innovative, agentic AI-powered chat application. You’ll play a key role in developing backend logic using Google ADK, integrating with frontend systems, and ensuring scalable deployment on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) via Cloud Run Agents and tasks are already defined, and core tools are built—your mission is to bring everything together for production readiness . Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain the agentic backend using Google ADK. • Build and optimize APIs for seamless communication between the web frontend and backend service • Analyze and monitor system performance to ensure reliability and scalability • Deploy backend services to GCP using Cloud Run • Collaborate with AI and engineering teams to troubleshoot, iterate, and optimize integration. Required Skills • Strong Python programming skills, with a focus on backend systems • Proven experience building AI-driven web applications or too • Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks such as Google ADK, Crew.ai, or similar platformsFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure, especially GCP and containerized deployment environments. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $46.00-51.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
