AI Engineer Tech Focus: Azure / OpenAI / Copilot Rate: Inside IR35: £500–£600/day Location: Fully Remote Length: Initially 3 months This is a fantastic opportunity for an AI Engineer to join a global construction and property consultancy that has undergone significant digital transformation. The organisation has invested heavily in its digital and data foundations and now wants to accelerate its AI capabilities. They have already built an AI platform and identified use cases. They now need an engineer who can help bring them to life. Although the journey has begun, this hire is critical. As the AI Engineer, you will be driving this forward. Taking a hands‑on role in developing AI solutions from the ground up and establishing best practices, standards, and guardrails for future development. The organisation wants to leverage AI to streamline processes, solve complex challenges, and deliver tangible business outcomes. They work exclusively within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, so practical experience with AI tooling in a cloud environment is essential. What We Are Looking For • Proven, practical AI development experience - building solutions that have delivered real business outcomes • Experience developing chatbots, agentic AI, or similar applied AI applications • Strong understanding of best practices, governance, and guardrails for safe and scalable AI adoption • Scripting experience - Python, R, or Java. • Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud AI services, such as: Azure AI, Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI (Open to candidates with equivalent experience in other cloud environments) • Experience with Copilot (or similar tools) • Experience with OpenAI models Why This Role?
