Artificial Intelligence Engineer

One of the country's largest financial services companies is seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence Engineer to design, develop, and deploy machine learning and generative AI solutions for chatbots, internal analytics and reporting use cases. This role focuses on enabling systems that adapt, learn, and respond based on data to contribute to smarter decision-making, automation, and insight generation across customer experience workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong technical proficiency across the AI/ML lifecycle including with taxonomy development, topic modeling, and churn/propensity modeling. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML and genAI solutions across structured and unstructured data • Build agentic AI systems and LLM-based applications for reasoning, decision-making, and automation of internal workflows • Design and implement NLP pipelines to extract, standardize, and analyze voice-of-customer (VOC) data (e.g., call transcripts, surveys, tickets) • Develop data pipelines and engineer features using SQL and Python across disparate sources to support modeling and experimentation • Build evaluation frameworks for genAI applications using metrics such as coherence, factuality, and helpfulness, as well as human-in-the-loop feedback systems • Conduct advanced statistical analysis, causal inference, and A/B testing to assess the business impact of AI initiatives • Maintain production-ready AI/ML solutions in cloud environments (e.g., AWS), following best practices for CI/CD and version control • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align models and analytics with high-impact business goals Required Skills & Experience: • Proven experience delivering AI/ML solutions, including generative AI applications • Strong background in NLP, data pipeline development, and model operationalization • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and common data science libraries/tools • Experience building and evaluating LLM applications using advanced evaluation strategies • Familiarity with taxonomy development, topic modeling, and churn/propensity modeling • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) and CI/CD practices • Demonstrated ability to work on both internal analytics/reporting models and customer-impact use cases • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills You will receive the following benefits: • Medical Insurance - Four medical plans to choose from for you and your family • Dental & Orthodontia Benefits • Vision Benefits • Health Savings Account (HSA) • Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts • Voluntary Life Insurance, Long-Term & Short-Term Disability Insurance • Hospital Indemnity Insurance • Paid Sick Time Leave • Legal and Identity Protection Plans • Pre-tax Commuter Benefit • 529 College Saver Plan Motion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
