Job Introduction
What You’ll Do
As an Asset Analytics Lead, you’ll be instrumental in shaping NHG’s data-driven approach to asset management. You’ll lead the development of robust data architecture and advanced analytics solutions that support compliance, performance tracking, and strategic investment decisions across our housing assets. By managing smart tools such as Power BI and GIS, you’ll help optimise asset performance and deliver value for money in repairs, maintenance, and long-term planning. Your work will directly support the Homes Directorate in making informed, evidence-based decisions that benefit our residents and communities.
This is a people manager role.
How You’ll Do It
• Lead the design and delivery of Power BI dashboards and visual analytics to support asset management strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical data solutions and reporting frameworks.
• Manage and develop the GIS system and smart analytical tools to optimise asset performance and forecasting.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and provide actionable insights for strategic planning.
• Implement innovative technologies such as machine learning and predictive analytics to enhance asset services.
• Ensure reporting aligns with sector regulations, internal policies, and data governance standards.
The ideal candidate

Essential:
• Experience managing and maintaining asset management systems.
• Strong skills in Power BI, SQL, Azure data warehousing, and Tableau development.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex data projects using project management methodologies.
• Excellent data management and advanced Excel/MS Office365 skills.
Desirable:
• Knowledge of housing sector regulations and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with GIS systems and spatial data analysis.
Hybrid arrangements - at least three days a week in an office or in a community/site based/partnership setting. On other days, working from home may be possible, depending on the work needed and the interaction required.
