Role-ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Developer
Location- Washington, DC Hybrid
Contract W2 role
Our Randstad client in Washington, D.C. is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a key player in designing, developing, and implementing HAM solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This role involves working on all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing and deployment. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of hardware assets, including working with instance transfers and optimizing workflows to meet business needs. A strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and a passion for creating streamlined, data-driven solutions are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) module.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for hardware asset tracking and management.
β’ Configure and customize ServiceNow HAM applications, including workflows, forms, and reports.
β’ Perform instance transfers and data migrations related to hardware assets.
β’ Integrate ServiceNow HAM with other systems and data sources as needed.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the HAM module.
β’ Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
β’ Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices for HAM.
Qualifications:
β’ Proven experience in ServiceNow development, with a specific focus on the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) module.
β’ Experience in designing and developing HAM solutions from scratch.
β’ Demonstrated experience working with ServiceNow instance transfers.
β’ Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), UI policies, business rules, and client scripts.
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
β’ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
β’ ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist - Hardware Asset Management is a plus.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
