Role Overview The Asset Planning Analyst supports the development of 1-year, 5-year, and 30-year investment plans, ensuring they align with organisational goals and efficiently use resources. Working closely with the Asset Planning Manager, the role focuses on collecting, analysing, and managing high-quality data to inform decision-making and ensure data-driven, strategic investment plans. Assisting in stakeholder consultations to gather priorities, contributing to plans that meet both immediate needs and long-term objectives. By supporting continuous improvement and maintaining data integrity, this role helps ensure investment plans are prioritised, well-executed, and maximise organisational impact. Demonstrate these values in intent and behaviour in all interactions • Assist in the creation and maintenance of 1-year, 5-year, and 30-year investment plans by gathering and analysing current asset data, forecasting future needs, and evaluating long-term investment requirements to ensure plans align with both short-term operational needs and long-term organisational goals • Contribute to the analysis and prioritisation of properties for investment, ensuring plans support value maximisation, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and quality standards, including Decent Homes requirements • Help gather, analyse, and maintain high-quality data to support evidence-based decision-making by collecting asset performance data, maintenance records, and financial information, ensuring that data is up-to-date, accurate, and comprehensive • Support efforts to improve and maintain data quality, including assisting with validation and cleansing to ensure that analytical processes and reporting tools are accurate and effective. This involves identifying discrepancies or gaps in the data, working to correct these issues, and helping streamline the processes that ensure consistent, high-quality data is available for decision-making and reporting • Provide support during consultations with internal and external stakeholders, taking minutes, helping to document needs, gather feedback, and integrate priorities into asset planning strategies effectively • Support cross-departmental collaboration and communication to assist in building consensus and securing buy-in for investment plans. This will involve gathering input on priorities and concerns and ensuring that the investment plans reflect the needs and objectives of all relevant teams • Contribute to the continuous improvement of asset planning processes, tools, and methodologies, ensuring they are effective and aligned with organisational goals • Assist in researching and staying informed about industry trends, offering input on how emerging practices or technologies can enhance asset planning strategies • Help establish and track performance metrics and KPIs, ensuring investment plans are measurable and objectives are consistently monitored and evaluated • Support the preparation of regular updates and comprehensive reports, ensuring all documentation reflects accurate data and clearly communicates the results and impacts of asset planning activities More About You • Educated to diploma level or equivalent, or currently working towards a qualification in building, asset management, or a related discipline, or able to demonstrate relevant experience • Basic understanding of asset management principles and practices, including long-term investment planning • Awareness of the Decent Homes Standard and other relevant regulations governing property and investment maintenance • Experience supporting the development of medium-to-long-term investment plans (1-year, 5-year, 30-year) and assisting with the prioritisation of resources • Experience in prioritising investments to optimise resource allocation and align with strategic objectives • Experience in collecting, managing, and analysing large datasets to inform decision-making and maintain data integrity • Familiarity with asset management systems and analytical tools to drive data quality and planning accuracy • Experience assisting with consultations and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to capture requirements and priorities • Strong written and verbal communication skills to support clear and effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders • Proven ability to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative work environment • Exceptional organisational and time management skills to support multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively • A keen eye for detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards in all deliverables • Familiarity with basic risk management principles related to asset planning and investments (Desirable) • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel Choosing Us is Easy As an employee of A2Dominion, we want you to feel rewarded and have a choice of flexible benefits, salary exchange benefits, and rewards and discounts that work for you, wherever you are in your life.
