Role description
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, ANALYTICS Havas Media North America is looking for an Associate Director to join the Analytics Team. As part of our global community of 10,000 team members, we focus on using Meaningful Media to make a meaningful difference for brands, businesses, and people. The Associate Director, Analytics, is responsible for collaborating with account teams and clients to perform client analytics, back-office analytics, and decision modeling. This includes report design, data capture development, and implementation processes. The Associate Director will work with various data sources to continuously evolve the metrics used to measure the effectiveness and ROI of activities across all campaign types. This role operates under the direction of a Director, allowing for learning in strategy, presentation support, and account management skills. A DAY IN THE LIFE MIGHT LOOK LIKE: • Developing new processes and creative solutions from scratch. • Applying advanced analytics and strong measurement planning. • Crafting compelling stories and communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and internal stakeholders. • Historical area of growth; have made recent strides with work in Lundbeck/ADUSA • Assisting in account growth by collaborating with partners and clients to develop and implement new analytical methodologies aimed at increasing revenue. • Providing marketing performance analysis for client engagements by understanding their business goals and designing tailored analytic approaches. • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop client tools and services, such as modeling, dashboard development, decision aids, and business case analysis to support programs and creative solutions. • Working with senior leadership to identify and propose solutions for improving departmental and team operations and morale. • Partnering seamlessly across the enterprise to access information and drive strategies and implementation autonomously. • Determining and implementing operational procedures and leading the analytics group in managing projects and resources. • Promoting process and organizational efficiency through automation. WHAT YOU’LL NEED/SKILLS: • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics or business intelligence, with a focus on analytics. • Experience working in a media or advertising agency is strongly preferred. • Proven experience in managing direct reports. • Expertise in the digital space is essential. • Demonstrated ability to apply cutting-edge analytics techniques to business challenges and leverage external thinking (from academia and/or other industries). • Ability to translate data into insights that illuminate customer needs and behavioral drivers. • Strong understanding of analytics methodologies (e.g., experimentation, measurement planning). • Proficient in statistical modeling, segmentation, value analysis, as well as reporting for website, online advertising, social media, mobile, email campaigns, and e-commerce activity. • Capable of contributing expertise and leading efforts in advanced analytics techniques and consumer research.
