Junior ETL Developer
As a Junior ETL Developer in the SLP Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting data integration and transformation activities across enterprise systems. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build their career in a cloud-driven environment. The candidate will work closely with senior developers, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure successful and timely delivery of ETL processes and cloud-based data solutions.
Key responsibilities
• ETL Development: Assist in building, enhancing, and maintaining ETL workflows using SQL and Python.
• Cloud Integration: Support data processing and migration tasks within AWS cloud environments.
• Data Quality & Reporting: Monitor ETL jobs, validate outputs, and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaboration & Support: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
• Continuous Learning: Proactively pick up new tools, technologies, and methodologies to strengthen ETL delivery.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent).
• Experience: Hands-on exposure to SQL and cloud technologies (AWS preferred), with some IT experience.
• Technical Skills: Strong SQL knowledge, exposure to scripting languages (Python specifically), and familiarity with version control systems.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational skills, proactive learner, attention to detail, and ability to quickly adapt to new challenges.
Location: Local to Charlotte (4 days in Office and 1 day remote)
