Building, managing, and optimizing data discovery, cataloging, and governance solutions using the Atlan platform. • Focus on enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization by ensuring data assets are easily discoverable, well-documented, and properly governed. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain data catalog and metadata management solutions using Atlan. • Integrate Atlan with various data sources (e.g., data warehouses, databases, data lakes, BI tools) to ensure seamless metadata ingestion and synchronization. • Develop and manage data lineage, data classification, and data governance workflows to support compliance and quality initiatives. • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data discovery needs and enhance Atlan’s adoption. • Create and maintain documentation, data glossaries, and business metadata to improve data literacy across teams. • Implement role-based access controls and data security policies within Atlan to safeguard sensitive information. • Monitor Atlan platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with the vendor for support and enhancements. • Conduct user training and promote best practices for data stewardship and catalog usage. • Stay updated with Atlan’s roadmap and new features; recommend and implement upgrades as needed.
