Role description
Business Execution Consultant II & III – Automation Analyst (Alteryx / Xceptor) Hybrid – Minneapolis, MN 6-month Contract (W2), Weekly Pay (40 hours/week) Pay Rate – $44-$51/hour Desired Start Date: Early–Mid June 2026 (ASAP upon selection) Overview Calculated Hire is in search of multiple Business Execution Consultants (Level II and Level III) to support a large-scale automation and transformation initiative within our client's Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) Operations group. This team is focused on replacing legacy processes with low-code automation tools, primarily Alteryx and Xceptor, and driving adoption across the organization. These roles will support both execution and enablement - helping teams understand how to use these tools while also pushing active automation projects forward. Job Description β€’ Support the execution and delivery of automation initiatives using Alteryx and Xceptor within WIM Operations β€’ Partner with business teams to understand current processes and determine how automation can be applied β€’ Build, modify, and troubleshoot workflows focused on data extraction, transformation, and reporting β€’ Provide hands-on guidance to teams and developers on how to effectively use Alteryx and Xceptor β€’ Help move multiple concurrent projects forward by identifying blockers and recommending solutions β€’ Support both straightforward data workflows and more complex exception-based processes within Xceptor β€’ Assist with data manipulation, enrichment, and reporting outputs across multiple systems β€’ Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline and optimize workflows Required Skills β€’ Hands-on experience with Alteryx (building, modifying, or supporting workflows) β€’ Experience with Xceptor strongly preferred β€’ Strong understanding of data transformation concepts (joins, filters, formulas, data blending) β€’ Ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment β€’ Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement and solutioning β€’ Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and evolving processes Required Qualifications β€’ BEC II: 2–5+ years of experience in automation, data analysis, or process improvement roles β€’ BEC III: 5–8+ years of experience with deeper ownership of automation solutions and project delivery β€’ Experience working with tools such as Alteryx, Xceptor, SQL, or similar platforms β€’ Demonstrated ability to support or lead workflow-based initiatives from concept through execution β€’ Comfortable working with both business stakeholders and technical teams β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) Preferred Qualifications β€’ Experience in financial services or large enterprise environments β€’ Exposure to low-code automation tools or process transformation initiatives β€’ Familiarity with Access databases or legacy system replacements β€’ Experience working with exception-based workflows or operational reporting processes Team / Organization This role supports a centralized transformation initiative within our client's Investment Management Operations group, focused on scaling automation solutions and driving adoption of low-code tools across the organization to improve efficiency and replace legacy processes.
