Automation Analyst β Contract (Outside IR35)
Location: Glasgow, Edinburgh, (Hybrid working β flexible remote options)
Security Clearance: BPSS required
We are seeking proactive Automation Analysts to join a multi-year Quality Assurance transformation programme within a major project. Automation is central to this programme β not an afterthought β with a focus on enabling continuous improvement, scalable delivery, and sustainable value.
This is a hands-on, visible role, not back-office scripting. Youβll play an active part in delivery, capability uplift, and driving long-term automation success.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Take over and enhance existing automation frameworks, ensuring knowledge capture and continuity
β’ Build reusable libraries and CI/CD-aligned frameworks to support ongoing projects
β’ Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites (UI and API layers)
β’ Ensure test coverage, regression readiness, and automation stability across environments
β’ Support automation uplift and knowledge transfer to client teams
β’ Contribute to automation governance β reporting KPIs, proposing improvements, influencing strategy
