Title: Automation Consultant (Microsoft) – Oil & Gas

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled on-site Consultant to work with our business teams in the oil and gas domain, supporting day-to-day operational needs and collaborating with offshore developers to deliver scalable low-code solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with PowerApps and Power Automate, and preferably a working knowledge of Azure services, DevOps practices, and emerging AI capabilities including agentic AI. This role is critical in streamlining workflows, enhancing compliance, and automating repetitive processes across key functions like asset management, field operations, procurement etc.
Responsibilities:
• Working with stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage automation technologies for business process improvement.
• Setting up and configuring Power Platform environments, including development, testing, and production environments.
• Managing environment settings, such as storage capacity, data policies, and connections.
• Implementing and maintaining security settings, including user roles, permissions, and data loss prevention (DLP) policies.
• Monitoring environment health and performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Providing user support for Power Platform users, including troubleshooting issues and answering questions.
• Coordinate and manage the lifecycle of requests including requirement validation, testing, UAT support, and post-deployment support.
• Collaborate with cloud architects to incorporate Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus where necessary.
• Use Azure DevOps for backlog tracking, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and environment deployments.
• Leverage agentic AI capabilities to automate repetitive tasks, generate intelligent workflows, and build conversational agents that assist with reporting, data validation, and operational insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft Certifications:
• PL-400 (Power Platform Developer)
• PL-600 (Power Platform Solution Architect)
• Experience with Power Apps, custom connectors, and API integration.
• Quick learner and passion to innovate
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps, or custom connectors.
• Familiarity with Azure Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps pipelines
• Familiarity with Agentic AI using Python or Azure AI/ML technologies
