Automation Specialist

JOB TITLE: Automation Specialist DURATION: 12+ Month Contract LOCATION: Cupertino, CA (Hybrid) Synergis’ client has engaged us to support the search for an Automation Specialist to join their growing Automation team. This role focuses on designing and developing intelligent, AI-driven automation solutions that support product quality, testing, and delivery across complex systems. Responsibilities: • As part of the Automation Team, you will independently design and develop AI based intelligent automation solutions in line with requirements provided by the Product team. • Develop test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts for both existing functionality and new features. • Contribute to multiple initiatives, balancing new feature development with documentation and on-time delivery. • Communicate status and progress in a timely manner, including sprint review reports, presentations, and planning demos for new features and MVPs. • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and cross-functional meetings to strengthen collaboration within and across teams. Key Qualifications: • 7+ years designing and developing automation solutions in Python, with 3+ years leading reviews and ensuring quality in others’ work. • Hands-on experience with Selenium, and iOS functional automation. • Experience with testing activities across the entire lifecycle of the project from inception to delivery. • Front-End Development: Design and implement user interfaces using JavaScript, and frameworks such as React. • Back-End Development: Develop and maintain server-side logic using Python. • Manage APIs and integrate third-party services and tools. • Ensure application data integrity and security by designing and managing databases in Postgres. Preferred Qualifications: • Built LLM applications and familiar with the concepts of MCP servers, Agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. • Experience with extract, transform, and load (ETL) data with using Python libraries (e.g. Pandas). • Strong understanding of version control systems and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows and proficient with tools such as Git, and Jenkins. • Automated data analytics and reporting across multiple systems. • Lead coordination with multiple Engineering and Product teams to expedite issue prioritization and resolution. • Create detailed test reports documenting progress, status, test plan completion, identified defects, and associated risks. The hourly pay rate range for this position is $75.00 to $95.00(dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
