Role description
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support mission-critical initiatives within a secure government environment. This role focuses on designing, automating, and deploying cloud-based infrastructure and applications in the High-Castle enclave, leveraging AWS services and Python development. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build resilient, compliant, and scalable solutions that operate effectively within TS networking constraints. This is a highly technical position requiring deep expertise in AWS, Python, and infrastructure automation, as well as an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
Clearance Requirement:
β’ Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (ISSA)
β’ Green Badge facility access (crossover supported)
β’ Company-issued laptop will be provided
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Implement and manage infrastructure within the High-Castle enclave
β’ Develop Python code to make API calls to AWS using the boto3 library
β’ Build and maintain AWS CDK applications in Python to automate application and service deployments into the TS fabric
β’ Collaborate with architects and engineers to design systems that operate effectively within TS networking constraints
β’ Assist with the architecture and deployment of AWS services in the TS region
β’ Support ongoing system integration, troubleshooting, and optimization within secure environments
Basic Qualifications:
β’ Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (ISSA)
β’ Green Badge facility access (or ability to obtain through crossover)
β’ Demonstrated experience with High-Castle infrastructure
β’ Background in designing and implementing technical architectures handling sensitive data
β’ Proficiency with AWS services (compute, storage, networking, IAM, etc.)
β’ Strong expertise with Python programming
β’ Familiarity with high-side development environments, including running FiDOS instances (used within the last 6 months
