Job Summary:
We are seeking a Mid-Level AWS Cloud Engineer to join our growing DevOps/Cloud team. This role requires hands-on expertise in Elastic Beanstalk, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and strong familiarity with AWS networking and security best practices. You will help us design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure to support highly available and secure applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Β· Deploy and manage applications using AWS Elastic Beanstalk for scalable, environment-based deployments
Β· Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform (IaC)
Β· Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, Docker, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
Β· Implement and maintain secure VPC architectures, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, and security groups
Β· Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of cloud environments using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools
Β· Apply AWS security best practices (IAM, KMS, encryption, access controls, etc.)
Β· Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to support application lifecycle
Β· Ensure high availability, reliability, and disaster recovery readiness of cloud systems
Required Qualifications:
Β· 3β5 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering
Β· Proficient with Terraform for infrastructure automation
Β· Strong experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk for deploying and managing applications
Β· Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Β· Solid understanding of AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, NACLs, etc.)
Β· Familiarity with AWS security services and principles (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, etc.)
Β· Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
Β· Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, ECS/EKS) is a plus
Β· AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate, SysOps Administrator) preferred
Nice to Have:
Β· Experience with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK, etc.)
Β· Familiarity with CloudFormation or CDK
Β· Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices
