Job Summary:
We are seeking a Mid-Level AWS Cloud Engineer to join our growing DevOps/Cloud team. This role requires hands-on expertise in Elastic Beanstalk, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and strong familiarity with AWS networking and security best practices. You will help us design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure to support highly available and secure applications.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deploy and manage applications using AWS Elastic Beanstalk for scalable, environment-based deployments
· Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform (IaC)
· Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, Docker, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
· Implement and maintain secure VPC architectures, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, and security groups
· Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of cloud environments using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools
· Apply AWS security best practices (IAM, KMS, encryption, access controls, etc.)
· Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to support application lifecycle
· Ensure high availability, reliability, and disaster recovery readiness of cloud systems
Required Qualifications:
· 3–5 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering
· Proficient with Terraform for infrastructure automation
· Strong experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk for deploying and managing applications
· Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
· Solid understanding of AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, NACLs, etc.)
· Familiarity with AWS security services and principles (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, etc.)
· Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
· Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, ECS/EKS) is a plus
· AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate, SysOps Administrator) preferred
Nice to Have:
· Experience with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK, etc.)
· Familiarity with CloudFormation or CDK
· Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices
