AWS Cloud Engineer

Part-Time AWS Cloud / DevOps Engineer (Tulsa, OK) • • No C2C. 1099 or Part-time W2 • • CubeNexus is a Techstars & VC-backed startup seeking an experienced AWS Cloud / DevOps Engineer (2.5 days/week) to own and evolve our cloud infrastructure. You’ll be our go-to expert for building, securing, and scaling our AWS environment, implementing our CI/CD pipeline, and enabling our small engineering team to move faster while maintaining robust compliance and data capabilities. What You’ll Do: • Design, manage, and optimize AWS infrastructure for high performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. • Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters (EKS) for containerized workloads. • Implement and maintain security best practices, backup, and disaster recovery processes. • Lead infrastructure-related compliance efforts (SOC 2, AWS FTR, etc.). • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, etc.). • Set up and manage large-scale data infrastructure, including cloud-to-cloud transfers. • Develop and maintain data ingestion connectors for platforms like Snowflake and other database solutions. • Configure and manage project tracking in Jira for infrastructure-related workflows. • Build robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. • Collaborate closely with application engineers to integrate infrastructure with development workflows. What You Bring: • 5+ years AWS infrastructure & DevOps experience. • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) in production environments. • Proven track record with SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks. • Expertise with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools. • Strong knowledge of large data management systems, data migration, and integration pipelines. • Experience building and managing connectors for Snowflake, Databricks, or similar. • Building and launching applications in AWS marketplace, Snowflake marketplace and others • Familiarity with Jira for project and workflow management. • Must be U.S.-based. • NO C2C.
