β’ CubeNexus is a Techstars & VC-backed startup seeking an experienced AWS Cloud / DevOps Engineer (2.5 days/week) to own and evolve our cloud infrastructure. Youβll be our go-to expert for building, securing, and scaling our AWS environment, implementing our CI/CD pipeline, and enabling our small engineering team to move faster while maintaining robust compliance and data capabilities.
What Youβll Do:
β’ Design, manage, and optimize AWS infrastructure for high performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
β’ Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters (EKS) for containerized workloads.
β’ Implement and maintain security best practices, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
β’ Lead infrastructure-related compliance efforts (SOC 2, AWS FTR, etc.).
β’ Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, etc.).
β’ Set up and manage large-scale data infrastructure, including cloud-to-cloud transfers.
β’ Develop and maintain data ingestion connectors for platforms like Snowflake and other database solutions.
β’ Configure and manage project tracking in Jira for infrastructure-related workflows.
β’ Build robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
β’ Collaborate closely with application engineers to integrate infrastructure with development workflows.
What You Bring:
β’ 5+ years AWS infrastructure & DevOps experience.
β’ Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) in production environments.
β’ Proven track record with SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks.
β’ Expertise with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.
β’ Strong knowledge of large data management systems, data migration, and integration pipelines.
β’ Experience building and managing connectors for Snowflake, Databricks, or similar.
β’ Building and launching applications in AWS marketplace, Snowflake marketplace and others
β’ Familiarity with Jira for project and workflow management.
β’ Must be U.S.-based.
β’ NO C2C.
