Job Title: AWS Connectivity Engineer (Fixer) Location: On-Site - Spring, Texas Duration: 12 Month Contract Description AWS Connectivity Engineer, also known as a Fixer, to join its cloud infrastructure team. This role is critical in managing and resolving unplanned infrastructure issues across AWS environments, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity, and supporting firewall operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong AWS networking expertise, DevOps capabilities, and troubleshooting acumen within large-scale enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities β€’ Act as the primary responder for break-fix incidents and ServiceNow tickets. β€’ Troubleshoot AWS infrastructure issues including VPC connectivity, EC2 access, and endpoint configurations. β€’ Perform firewall operations to ensure secure traffic flow and resolve policy-related issues. β€’ Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate secure access to AWS services. β€’ Utilize monitoring tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Splunk) to analyze logs and diagnose connectivity problems. β€’ Support DevOps workflows and automation using GitHub and Terraform. β€’ Maintain and interpret GitHub workflows using YAML and Python. β€’ Consult with senior engineers and architects to resolve complex infrastructure challenges. Required Qualifications β€’ 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS networking and infrastructure. β€’ Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, VPNs, and Direct Connect. β€’ Experience with firewall operations (FortiGate preferred). β€’ Proficiency in GitHub, Terraform, YAML, and Python. β€’ Familiarity with AWS monitoring tools and log analysis. β€’ Ability to work in a large enterprise environment with cross-functional teams. β€’ Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
