Role description
Qualifications
• Strong experience in Data Architecture and designing cloud-native data platforms, preferably on AWS (e.g., Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda, RDS, Athena).
• Hands-on expertise in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing, including dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and data mart design.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining Extract Transform Load (ETL) and/or ELT pipelines, using modern data integration tools and frameworks.
• Experience with Salesforce
• Practical experience with Data Governance practices, including data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and access controls.
• Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (such as Python, Scala, or Java) for data engineering tasks.
• Experience with big data or analytics ecosystems (e.g., Spark, EMR, Kafka, or similar technologies) is highly beneficial.
• Ability to gather and translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, and to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Solutions Architect, or Database Specialty) are a plus.
